Raymore (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar four-star tight end Jaden Reddell has narrowed his list of top schools down to five.

The No. 22 overall prospect and No. 1 tight end in the 2024 On300 holds offers from several notable Power Five programs but opted to narrow his list down Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, Oregon and Tennessee.

“What made these five schools stand out are how they produce tight ends, how they use the tight ends in their offense, the relationships I have with the coaches and how they have consistently made me feel like a priority,” Reddell told On3. “I would say my visits to these schools were five of the best I have taken as well.”

Reddell noted that he’s visited Alabama three times, Tennessee twice and the other three schools in his top five once. He’s set to return to Georgia this weekend for an official visit also has officials scheduled with Alabama (June 2-4), Georgia (June 9-11) and to Tennessee (June 16-18).

While he doesn’t have officials scheduled with Notre Dame or Oregon yet, Reddell said he’s thinking about taking officials to those two as well.

Getting all of his officials out of the way is crucial step for Reddell as a decision will likely be coming shortly after.

“After my official visits, I plan to commit,” Reddell said. “I see myself committing this summer at some point.”

Reddell touches on each of his top schools

Alabama: “It starts with the connection I have with the coaches. From Joe Cox to Tommy Rees, I have strong connections there. Then it is about the sustained success that Alabama has had.”

Georgia: “Georgia’s production at tight end really stands out. That and my relationship with Todd Hartley are big. Then Georgia is back-to-back national champions. The way they are winning is something I look at too.”

Notre Dame: “Notre Dame has a rich history with tight ends. They get tight ends, they develop them and they use them. I like that and how coach Gerad Parker is the tight ends coach and the offensive coordinator. I know he will use the tight ends in his offense.”

Oregon: “Oregon’s offense stands out. I like how they run it and how they utilize the tight ends in it. My relationship is strong with coach Drew Mehringer too. I am pretty close with him.”

Tennessee: “It started with Tennessee with I was there for the Alabama game. That was my best visit ever. My relationships with the staff have grown since then too. The explosive offense they run under Josh Heupel is something else that put Tennessee high on my list.”
