Alabama and Georgia are set to meet in a key SEC matchup, one that will carry significant College Football Playoff implications. And the injury report looms large for both teams.

Luckily for both they’re coming off a bye week, which has allowed some guys to get a little extra rest ahead of the key conference clash. The official injury report from the SEC came out on Wednesday night, giving us a better idea of where both teams stand – and Jam Miller did not appear for Alabama, meaning he is good to go.

You can view the complete injury report for both teams below. It gives you a pretty good gauge on the health of both teams.

Alabama Crimson Tide

DL Jah-Marien Latham – Out
DL Jeremiah Beaman – Out
TE Danny Lewis Jr. – Probable
DL Tim Keenan – Probable

Georgia Bulldogs

TE Ethan Barbour – Out
OL Malachi Toliver – Out
WR Thomas Blackshear – Out
OL Earnest Greene III – Doubtful

One of the known injuries going into the evening was to Alabama defensive lineman Jah-Marien Latham, who suffered a neck injury in practice early this week. He was taken to a hospital following the incident.

Coach Kalen DeBoer provided an update on his status on Wednesday. Given that he’s still hospitalized, the situation remains serious.

“Probably one thing I just want to note, because I know I put a statement out last night,” DeBoer said on an SEC teleconference call on Wednesday. “Probably going to get asked on Jah-Marien Latham, just a follow-up on that.

“He is at UAB, just continuing to get evaluated. Probably know more here in the next 48 hours. But most importantly he’s got motion, feeling. Just text with him this morning and he told me, ‘Tell the guys he’s doing well.’ So just more tests, more things we’ve got to evaluate, but that’s the latest on him.”

Georgia, meanwhile, had a handful of players on the injury report in Week 3 ahead of its game at Tennessee. That’s a good place to start when evaluating how much healthier the team is this week prior to the Alabama game.

Then, receiver Thomas Blackshear, tight end Ethan Barbour and outside linebacker Chase Linton were all out with various injuries. Meanwhile, offensive linemen Earnest Greene III and Juan Gaston were listed with various statuses throughout the week before they were deemed available and game-time decision on the final report.
