The final College Football Playoff rankings come out Sunday, and there’s sure to be plenty of discussion about who the top four should be heading into the reveal show. FOX Sports analyst Joel Klatt unveiled his picks via Twitter — and made a definitive statement in the process.

Klatt said some combination of Georgia, Michigan, TCU and Ohio State will be in the top four. That means USC and Alabama will be on the outside looking in after the Trojans fell to Utah in the Pac-12 Championship Friday night in Las Vegas.

Klatt made his picks before the second half of the SEC Championship between Georgia and LSU got underway. The Bulldogs led the Tigers 35-10 at the time.

Klatt notably had TCU in his rankings despite the Horned Frogs’ upset loss to Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship. It was the Horned Frogs’ first loss of the season, which is an argument why they should stay in the top four.

Klatt is among the many fans and personalities making their picks for the top four ahead of Sunday’s announcement. The final CFP rankings will be unveiled Sunday at 12:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Sonny Dykes argues TCU’s case for the College Football Playoff after Big 12 Championship loss

TCU entered Saturday ranked No. 3 in the penultimate College Football Playoff rankings and poised for a spot in the top four. Then, Kansas State pulled off the upset of the Horned Frogs, putting their CFP hopes into question.

Sonny Dykes sure thinks his team deserves to make it.

After the game, Dykes made the case for his team to make the CFP. The Horned Frogs fell to Kansas State 31-28 in overtime on Saturday after an undefeated regular season, and Dykes said that record — especially in the Big 12 — should be enough to put his team in the field.

“I think we’re certainly deserving,” Dykes said. “I think the (Big 12) is one of the best leagues in the country. To go through undefeated in the (regular season), certainly we ought to get in. I don’t think we should be punished for coming to the Big 12 Championship game.”
