Johnny Manziel takes massive shot at Cleveland

Former Texas A&M star Johnny Manziel never got the wheels turning in the NFL, as he was just another name on the list of failed Cleveland Brown quarterback picks.
Manziel spent a meager two seasons with the Browns, after Cleveland used the 22nd-overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft to select him, and he played in just 14 total games, starting just eight. Across those 14 appearances in two seasons, Manziel completed 57 percent of his passes for seven touchdowns, seven interceptions and 1,675 yards. He never panned into anything else in the NFL, failing to sign with another team and instead making brief stints in the CFL, now-defunct AAF and FCF. But Manziel thinks Cleveland was apart of the problem all along.
Manziel tweeted on Sunday, “How Bieniemy isn’t a head coach in the league blows my mind,” to which a fan — from Cleveland — responded with sarcasm, “hard hitting stuff right here.”
Then, Manziel took things a step further.
“You still mad about the playoff loss from last year or the fact you live in Cleveland probably?” Manziel said to the fan, which prompted another fan to chime in: “sounds like you’re still mad you got caught.”
That last one prompted the dagger from Manziel, who summed up his failed two-year tenure in Cleveland by taking a shot at the city as a whole.
“I would have paid to get out of Berea. It’s all love though Baker is my guy,” Manziel said, adding in a separate tweet, “Cleveland sucks. That’s not negative that’s factual. Not the people, the place itself.”
Manziel in 2012 became the first-ever freshman and second Texas A&M Aggie to ever win the Heisman Trophy, as his historic season saw him lead the program to new heights, while pulling off video-game esque plays. Manziel won the Heisman in 2012, his freshman year, by completing 68 percent of his passes for 3,706 yards, 29 touchdowns and nine interceptions, along with 1,410 rushing yards and 21 rushing touchdowns. In 2013, his second year as Texas A&M’s starting quarterback, he was just as dominant, finishing with 4,114 passing yards, 37 touchdowns to just 13 interceptions and 759 rushing yards for nine more touchdowns.
But despite his college success, Manziel never translated it to the NFL. And he seems to imply that Cleveland is one reason why.

Johnny Manziel gives explicit response to NFL reporter/insider
Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel got into an argument with an NFL insider on Twitter, leading to him responding with an explicit message. Calling out both Pro Football Talk and NFL insider Mike Florio, Manziel shared emojis giving them “the bird” as he argued over the Bengals comeback.
“Game’s not over, obviously,” wrote Pro Football Talk on Twitter as the Chiefs took a major lead over the Bengals in the AFC Championship Game. “But it would be almost impossible for anyone to beat Mahomes and the Chiefs today. From any era.”
After Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow mounted an incredible comeback while the Bengals’ defense held the Chiefs to only three points in the entire second half, Manziel took the chance to call out Pro Football Talk.
After calling their previous message “trash” by sharing a bunch of garbage can emojis, Manziel seemed to enjoy seeing the website be wrong about the Bengals’ chances. Pro Football Talk responded to the controversial former star of Texas A&M with a sarcastic question of their own.
“What part of ‘game’s not over obviously’ did you not understand?”
Manziel used the chance to air his feelings towards the media and Mike Florio specifically, giving them “the bird” in his final response.
