Colorado offensive tackle Jordan Seaton exited Saturday night’s 37-20 win over Wyoming with a hamstring injury, sources tell On3. The star left tackle returned to the sidelines in the second half, dressed in street clothes.

In his postgame press conference, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders said that Seaton is “cool, they’re good.” Sanders went on to say that the Buffaloes “shouldn’t lose any of them for a couple of weeks.” Offensive lineman Zy Crisler and running backs Simeon Price and DeKalon Taylor also exited the win over Wyoming with injuries.

Seaton’s status to open the week is questionable; Colorado is set to host No. 25 BYU on Saturday in its Big 12 opener. Through four weeks, Seaton has the highest pass-rushing grade in the country, according to Pro Football Focus. He’s yet to allow a sack and just one hurry.

A former five-star recruit, Seaton has been a big addition in the last two seasons for a Colorado team that has struggled to protect the quarterback. The Buffs are currently allowing 2.5 sacks per game and averaging 141.5 rushing yards per game.

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive tackle earned Freshman All-American honors in 2024, playing and starting all 13 games as a true freshman. He became the first true freshman to start at offensive tackle in the season opener at Colorado and the first in the Big 12 since Texas’ Kelvin Banks in 2022. Seaton also started the most games as a true freshman in Colorado history and is only the third player to start every game played in their freshman season.

Following the visit from BYU, Colorado is at TCU, home against Iowa State and at Utah. Colorado is 2-2. Kickoff for Saturday night in Boulder against the Cougars is set for 10:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
