Josh Pate Best Bets: Week 12 College Football Picks, Predictions

On Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, college football analyst Josh Pate provides his picks aboard the Ramen Noodle Express for the coming weekend, offering a preview for Week 12. He dished out his first pick, a Sun Belt game, on Sunday night.

Pate made his picks at the end of Sunday’s episode of the Josh Pate’s College Football Show. First, he recapped how last weekend went.

“We have been rolling,” Pate said. “Ramen Noodle Express 7-4 again yesterday. So 14-8, I think, the past two weeks. We are rolling, just kind of continuing to build distance between ourselves and that .500 mark. Continuing to build distance. Coastal Carolina (+2.5) at Georgia Southern

Coastal Carolina has piled up four straight wins after a very back-and-forth start to the season. There’s some real momentum now. Georgia Southern, on the other hand, has lost three of its last five. That said, the program is coming off a nice win at Appalachian State. So who takes this one?

Josh Pate: “I am adding our first Best Bet of Week 12. We are going right back to the well with Coastal Carolina. They are at Georgia Southern. Coastal is +2.5. We like it. I would imagine we’ll add somewhere between eight, nine, 10 more bets as the week goes on. But that is our first one. We usually do pretty good with those first bets.”
