Lane Kiffin encourages betting analyst to 'take the over' in LSU vs. Ole Miss after viral photo of Whit Weeks, daughter Landry

Lane Kiffin’s daughter, Landry, revealed that she’s dating LSU linebacker Whit Weeks on social media ahead of Ole Miss’ game against LSU on Saturday. Kiffin took to Twitter on Monday night to respond to some of the reactions.
One betting analyst said that this could only mean one thing: the over’s going to hit. Kiffin responded, encouraging the bettor to “take the over.”
This could be harmless betting advice from the Ole Miss head coach. Per BetMGM, the over/under is set at 54.5 total points. If Kiffin has it his way, most of those will be on Weeks and the LSU defense. If Weeks gets his way, the Ole Miss offense will be a no-show on its home turf.
As it stands, Ole Miss is averaging 44.8 points per game having scored 21 total touchdowns in its first four games. The Rebels have scored 30 and 41 points, respectively, against SEC competition so far this season.
They’ve been provided a boost from QB Trinidad Chambliss off the bench. He’s 2-0 as a starter and has thrown for over 300 yards in each of those wins. Defeating Arkansas and Tulane, the Rebels have scored at least 40 points in both starts and will look to continue that trend on Saturday vs. the Tigers.
Meanwhile for LSU, its defense is letting up 9.25 points per game while the offense is putting up 35. The Tigers scored 56 points against SE Louisiana during Week 4. It was the first time that LSU had put up more than 23 points in a game this season.
Some of that can be attributed LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier’s early-season torso injury. He appears to be on the other side of that injury now based on the Tigers’ offensive showcase last week.

The Ole Miss offense has yet to be slowed down this season, while LSU’s defense has held strong against its four opponents. One will have to break. Which one that is remains to be seen.
