Latavious Brini announces transfer to the Arkansas Razorbacks
Latavious Brini announced Sunday that he is transferring to Arkansas to play his final season.
The Georgia transfer and member of the 2017 class spent five seasons in Athens. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound safety considered Texas, Mississippi State and Louisville along with the Razorbacks
The physical defensive back left Georgia a National Champion with 11 starts as a senior. He accumulated 38 tackles and eight passes defended in year five. The Sunshine State native started one game as a junior, the Peach Bowl victory over Cincinnati logging a career-best five tackles. The former 3-star recruit posted 50 tackles, nine passes defended and one interception in 30 games.

Brini officially entered his name in the transfer portal January 13. The Razorbacks were immediately considered the team to beat until the Longhorns engaged in the recruitment, and made it a photo finish.
Brini joins Alabama transfer EDGE/LB Drew Sanders in transfers that selected Arkansas over Texas.
