The initial injury report for the Southwest Classic between Texas A&M and Arkansas was released on Wednesday. There are several big names from both teams to watch on both sides heading into this heated SEC rivalry.

Aggies running back Le’Veon Moss suffered an ankle injury in Saturday’s win against Florida. He is expected to miss this game, but coach Mike Elko said earlier this week that he does not expect the injury to be season-ending.

Texas A&M will likely lean on Rueben Owens as the lead running back while Moss is sidelined. You can view the full injury report for the game between Arkansas and Texas A&M below.

Arkansas Razorbacks

  • WR Jalen Brown – OUT
  • WR Ismael Cisse – OUT
  • RB AJ Green – OUT
  • WR Monte Harrison – OUT
  • DL David Oke – OUT
  • TE Andreas Paaske – OUT
  • DL Danny Saili – OUT

No. 4 Texas A&M Aggies

  • TE Kiotti Armstrong – OUT
  • RB Le’Veon Moss – OUT

Outside of Owens, the Aggies could lean on Jamarion MorrowAmari Daniels and EJ Smith to see extra work during Moss’ absence. Elko spoke on how tough it is for the team to lose Moss, but added A&M must push forward until he can return.

“I love Le’Veon,” Elko said. “I wish Le’Veon was healthy. We’re going to miss him. He’s been a warrior for this program. He’s given us everything he had to get ready for this season. I hope this goes as fast and as smooth as it can, but injuries are a part of SEC football. And if we’re going to allow injuries to impact or derail things, we can’t do that.”

Since this is an SEC matchup, Arkansas and Texas A&M will both release availability reports throughout the week. In addition to Wednesday’s injury report, there will also be reports released on Thursday and Friday, then one final report that comes out 90 minutes before kickoff.

The Aggies enter this matchup against the Razorbacks as one of three teams in the SEC still with an undefeated conference record. Meanwhile, Arkansas finds itself in the midst of a four-game losing streak and recently parted ways with coach Sam Pittman a couple of weeks ago.

The Razorbacks own a 42-36-3 all-time record against the Aggies, but A&M has dominated recently to win 12 of the last 13 meetings. Kickoff for the contest is set for 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday in Fayetteville.
