Lane Kiffin is getting plenty of enjoyment out of good friend Ed Orgeron this weekend, whether it’s him responding to heckling fans or being trolled on Twitter. Following UCLA’s new Twitter header having fun with Orgeron’s comments Saturday, Kiffin let the world know he was laughing.

The header includes a picture is a blue shirt with the words “Sissy Blue” across the chest. Of course, those are the choice words Orgeron fired back at a heckler prior to LSU‘s loss to UCLA.

Kiffin hasn’t been one to hide his feelings on Twitter, and he’s enjoying UCLA adding insult to injury following his defeating his SEC rival. While Kiffin respects UCLA’s game on the field, he may appreciate their troll game more.

Orgeron and the Tigers will meet Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss on Oct. 23 in Oxford, Mississippi. Two of the most respected coaches in college football, it’s sure to be an entertaining matchup. Hecklers, t-shirts and tweets will be at a premium from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

While Orgeron’s Tigers suffered an opening week loss, the Rebels open their season tonight at 7 p.m. EST against the Louisville Cardinals.

Kiffin to miss Ole Miss vs. Louisville

Last week, Kiffin tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be available Monday as the Rebels take on Louisville in Atlanta.

Kiffin confirmed his positive test, stating he is experiencing mild symptoms. He noted that he is vaccinated and that there are no other cases to report from Ole Miss at this time.

The Rebels will continue to monitor the situation over the weekend and “take responsible measures” should any symptoms arise in other members of the program.

“I am disappointed to confirm I have developed a break-through case Covid and will not accompany our team to Atlanta,” Kiffin said in a statement posted to the Ole Miss Football account on Twitter. “I am so grateful to be vaccinated and experiencing only mild symptoms. So much so, I debated over being tested, but I’m relieved that I did. I’m proud of our program’s commitment to vaccination. As a result, there are no other cases to report or team members expected to miss the game. We will continue to monitor our team closely and take responsible measures if any symptoms arise.”

Ole Miss was one of the first major Power 5 programs in the country to reach a 100% vaccination status.
