Alabama is set to head to South Carolina in a pivotal SEC game as the Crimson Tide look to continue their run toward the SEC title game. The Gamecocks will certainly be trying to play spoiler, and to that end the injury report is significant.

South Carolina has lost two straight and four of its last five, with the lone win in that span coming against Kentucky. Alabama, meanwhile, has won six straight after dropping its season opener, including four straight over ranked opponents.

So what will the injury situation look like? Well, the initial availability report released by the SEC on Wednesday night helps clue us in. Thursday night’s gives us even more info. Let’s take a look.

Of note for Alabama, the two players who suffered concussions in the Missouri game two weeks ago — running back Jam Miller and receiver Derek Meadows — are now both off the availability report. Miller, of course, played last weekend at Tennessee.

But Meadows’ removal, and subsequent availability for the Alabama at South Carolina game, is a new bit of info. He’s mostly been a reserve but contributes on special teams.

Meanwhile, four other players who missed the Tennessee game were also listed out on Wednesday for Alabama. They were linebacker Qua Russaw, linebacker Jah-Marien Latham, linebacker Cayden Jones and defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman.

On the other side, South Carolina has been without a handful of players, while several others have been listed as game-time decisions or available in recent weeks. There were some new additions on Wednesday, as well as some that rolled off the injury report.

After missing last weekend’s contest against Oklahoma, receiver Brian Rowe and defensive lineman Davonte Miles have come off the injury report. However, offensive lineman Cason Henry remains out and now offensive lineman Jatavius Shivers is also listed as out.

The final addition comes on the defensive line. That’s where Monkell Goodwine was listed as probable on Wednesday.

South Carolina and Alabama are set to meet at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
