Tennessee opened as four-point favorites over LSU, but the line has since grown. As of 10:02 a.m. ET on Saturday, Tennessee is listed as a 5.5-point favorite, according to Vegas Insider.

Both Tennessee, LSU are 3-3 in SEC play

LSU opened this season on a 12-game winning streak. Against Auburn on December 29, though, LSU fell short in a 70-55 loss. The Tigers responded to that loss with three consecutive victories over Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida. Since then, though, LSU has lost two straight to Arkansas and Alabama, falling to 15-3.

Tennessee faced off with two ranked teams in the first four games of the season. The Vols fell to Villanova 71-53 before defeating North Carolina 89-72. Tennessee has gone back and forth in its last seven games, with four wins and three losses in alternating fashion. On Tuesday, Tennessee defeated Vanderbilt 68-60.

On January 8, Tennessee and LSU played against each other for the first time this season. LSU held a 42-35 lead at halftime and won the game 79-67. The Tigers shot over 44 percent from three-point range in the victory, while Tennessee shot 25 percent and under 40 percent from the field.
