LSU‘s Super Regional contest against West Virginia on Sunday night has been delayed for a second time due to inclement weather. The new first pitch time is slated for 8:56 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

The Tigers are looking to close out the Baton Rouge Super Regional with a 2-0 sweep. LSU won the first meeting on Saturday in a 16-9 offensive explosion.

You can view a summary of the Super Regional action in Baton Rouge so far below. We’ve also included a summary of the Fayetteville Super Regional, which will be paired with Baton Rouge for the first set of games in the College World Series.

Baton Rouge Super Regional Summary

Game 1: LSU 16, West Virginia 9

An offensive explosion occurred Saturday on Baton Rouge, as both LSU and West Virginia put up big numbers. Weirdly enough, the Mountaineers put up more hits than the Tigers 11-8. LSU was able to draw a good chunk of walks and was even hit by six pitches. An unusual way to put runs on the board but head coach Jay Johnson will take it. Now, the Tigers are one win away from getting back to the College World Series.

Fayetteville Summary

Game 1: Arkansas 4, Tennessee 3

If emotions are what you want at this stage of the NCAA Tournament, the Fayetteville Super Regional is the place to be. Arkansas emerged victorious in the all-important Game 1 of the Super Regional, 4-3. Zach Root, despite going on an NSFW rant, was brilliant for seven innings. The Hogs are now one win away from getting back to Omaha, taking down an SEC opponent along the way.

Game 2: Arkansas 11, Tennessee 4

The ‘Hogs got to Omaha in their win on Sunday with an all-around outing against the Volunteers. Arkansas put up double-digit runs, in large part to a grand slam from Logan Maxwell with three home runs total, while also pitching an outing with five on the mound where they had an ERA of 3.79 and allowed seven hits total. That eliminated the defending national champions and sent the Razorbacks to the College World Series for the dozenth time ever.
