Miami 4-star LB commit Jordan Campbell locks in three more official visits

Miami (Fla.) Northwestern four-star linebacker Jordan Campbell has been committed to the hometown Miami Hurricanes since November 2023. But that hasn’t stopped other schools from pursuing him — or him from giving them a serious look.
Campbell made a number of recruiting stops this spring, including few at Miami, as well as trips to Auburn, Nebraska, Florida, and others. Multiple schools are looking to flip him, and will do their best when they get him on campus this summer for official visits.
According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, the four-star ‘backer will now take four visits in the month of June. His previously scheduled trip to Miami is still on for June 6, but he’ll also take trips to Auburn (June 10), Nebraska (June 13) and Missouri (June 20).
Other schools continue to press for Campbell
Despite all of the efforts to flip him, Campbell has remained solid on the pledge he gave Miami 18 months ago. But at the same time, he wants to make sure he leaves no stone unturned before he officially signs in December.
The Huskers are a program who made a big impression when he visited in January, and they continue to be one of the top programs on his list.
“That visit to Nebraska opened my eyes,” he told On3’s Chad Simmons after the trip. “They are different and I will be back for spring practice. What stood out was the love they have for their players. From helping with the academics to the strength and conditioning – they have everything for great support. How they care for their players stood out a lot.”
Missouri, meanwhile, has a strong connection to him through linebackers coach Derek Nicholson, who was his recruiter with the Hurricanes when he committed.

“Coach D-Nic will always be a connection for me,” he told Simmons. “He is a great guy, our relationship goes back to Miami and that will never die. He is recruiting me hard and I could get out there this spring.”
Both of those programs have been heavily initiating their contact with him, but he told AuburnLive in March that he actually reached out to the Tigers’ staff. He wants to get a look at all his options, and decided to take a visit to the Plains with a return now scheduled for June.
“It’s a special place, man,” Campbell said. “Everything they’re engineering is great, the dorms are nice, I saw downtown and the toilet paper place. Just the whole college town feeling is crazy, I like it.”
The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder is the No. 135 overall prospect and No. 8 linebacker in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
