Miami head coach Jim Larranaga did not hold back about the challenge of a road game in the conference.
“Road games are difficult – when you play back-to-back-to-back it’s even more difficult,” Larranaga said, via CaneSport. “One of the things is we don’t create our schedule, some genius does … as a coach I look at it as control the things you can control, don’t worry about the things you can’t and just know the difference. We can’t control that. We’ll do the best we can in preparing for each and every game.”

Duke has yet to lose at home this season. The Blue Devils are 9-0 on their home floor.
“Duke has made a name for itself with the success Coach K (Mike Krzyzewski) had, even while he’s been gone they’ve been a pretty good basketball team,” guard Jordan Miller said. “You want to have success coming out of Cameron again like we did last year (a 76-74 Miami win).”
Miami is just 3-2 over the last five games after the 12-1 start to the season. The Hurricanes took out Syracuse in their last game, 82-78.
Duke’s two game winning streak ended on the road against Clemson in its last time out. Prior to that game, the Blue Devils took down Boston College and Pitt.
