Four-Star SF Micah Robinson sets commitment date

Top-100 recruit Micah Robinson is ready to make his college decision. The 6-foot-6, 200-pound small forward out of Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy will make his commitment live on the On3 Recruits YouTube Channel on Saturday, September 23rd at 10:00 AM CT.

Robinson will choose between four schools: Vanderbilt, LSU, Virginia Tech, and TCU.

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Robinson is the No. 87 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. He’s also the No. 30 small forward prospect and the No. 5 player in the state of Texas. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

“Micah Robinson is a connective player. A wing forward who has a strong frame and explosive burst and enjoys doing the dirty work. Robinson is a multi-positional defender, able to slide his feet on defense, use his length in the passing lanes, or his strength to switch down and guard some fours. He is a good passer in transition, and he moves the ball well in the half-court. He can handle the ball in straight lines and attacks the rim with a purpose. Robinson needs to continue developing the jump shot, which is streaky right now. He also needs to work on his counters off the bounce and develop some more creativity in his handle.
