Warrington (Pa.) La Salle College four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar has seen contenders emerge in his recruitment and he’s logging visits this spring to help narrow his list further.

Missouri is one of the programs pushing the hardest for the 6-foot-3 signal-caller. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers are set to get Sidwar back to Columbia later this week.

On3’s Chad Simmons reported earlier this month that the blue-chipper had locked in some visits, including one to the SEC program. On Monday, Sidwar confirmed via X that he’ll visit Mizzou this Wednesday:

The one-time Rutgers commit previously named Mizzou, Ole Miss, Syracuse, Iowa and UCLA as finalists. The Orange since flipped three-star QB Zaid Lott from North Carolina, while Ole Miss added a pledge from three-star QB Rees Wise on Monday evening.

Mizzou has been a constant in his process and is looking to land another top QB in consecutive cycles. Last cycle, Drinkwitz and Co. landed four-star QB Matt Zollers, a top-100 prospect and potential signal-caller of the future in CoMo.

Sidwar is the No. 247 overall prospect and No. 16 QB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 8 player in Pennsylvania.

As a junior, Sidwar broke multiple school records at LaSalle, throwing for 2,747 passing yards on 220 completions. LaSalle finished the season with a 10-1 record and ranked as the No. 33 team in the nation and No. 2 team in Pennsylvania, per the On3 Composite.

More on Mizzou Recruiting

The Tigers currently have just a pair of commits in their 2026 class via Little Rock (Ark.) Maumelle four-star defensive lineman Anthony Kennedy and Seffner (Fla.) Armwood three-star safety D’Montae Tims.

“One of the biggest reasons I committed to Missouri is my great connection with the coaches,” Kennedy told On3. “How I love the atmosphere and how it feels like home are other things I like about Missouri.”

Last cycle, Zollers was one of seven four-stars to ink with Mizzou. He and four-star EDGE Javion Hilson each finished as top-100 prospects. Hilson was the No. 6 EDGE in the cycle.

Other top signees include: Four-star wide receiver Donovan Olugbode, four-star running back Marquise Davis, four-star WR Shaun Terry, four-star linebacker Dante McClellan and four-star interior offensive lineman Henry Fenuku.

The class ranked No. 16 in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The Tigers checked in ahead of Oklahoma, South Carolina, Ole Miss and four others in the SEC.
