On Saturday, No. 10 Georgia will square off against Auburn inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Tigers’ home crowd will be hungry for a win with Auburn entering the game on back-to-back losses.

Auburn’s recent struggles won’t be its only motivator. Auburn has lost its last eight meetings against Georgia. Most recently, the Bulldogs dominated the Tigers in a 31-13 blowout last season.

Georgia boasts a 65-56-8 all-time record against Auburn. On Saturday, the Bulldogs will look to add to their impressive win streak. Hopefully, injuries don’t hinder either team’s performance. Look below to see each team’s latest availability report.

Auburn Tigers:

Out:
WR Horatio Fields
RB Durell Robinson

Georgia Bulldogs:

Auburn isn’t the only team that will be entering the contest with a chip on their shoulder. In Week 5, Georgia suffered a 24-21 loss to Alabama. With the loss so early in the season, Georgia will be skating on thin ice for the rest of conference play.

With College Football Playoff hopes, the Bulldogs can’t afford a misstep. Despite Georgia’s recent dominance over Auburn, Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart isn’t overlooking the Tigers.

“They’ve got a great football team,” Smart said. “They’ve played two really, really hard road games in our league against two of the premier teams in our league right now. Playing really good defensively. Got a lot of weapons on offense, got a lot of great skill players, a lot of great players on special teams.”

Auburn has proven it’s capable of competing with elite competition. The Tigers have lost each of their last two games — against Oklahoma and Texas A&M — by seven points or less. Both the Sooners and the Aggies are currently ranked top 10 in the country.

Auburn’s losses have largely been due to its offense. In its 16-10 loss to Texas A&M last week, Auburn only amassed 187 total yards of offense. The Tigers will have to find a way to move the ball against the Bulldogs’ defense.

Georgia’s defense is allowing 313.2 yards per game this season, ranking No. 33 in the country. Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze is excited for a chance to pull off a major upset.

“We can’t wait to be back in Jordan-Hare. Seventeenth straight sellout, which I think is a new record. Get to play a night game in a rivalry like this that dates back for years,” Freeze said. “It’s super exciting to our staff and to our kids and our fans, I know it will be an incredible environment for us to go test ourselves against another top-quality opponent.”

Auburn and Georgia will clash at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will air live on ABC.
