February was a rough month for Buckeyes
There’s been times throughout the 2021-22 college basketball season when Ohio State has played like a top-25 team, and there’s been times when the Buckeyes have played like one of the lower-level teams in the Big Ten Conference. Ohio State has been inconsistent – and that could play a significant role in their postseason success.
In the month of February, the Buckeyes have gone 5-3 – with losses to Rutgers, Iowa and Maryland. Their loss to Maryland on Sunday came just three days after they recorded an upset win over No. 15 ranked Illinois on the road.

Cornhuskers have struggled throughout 2021-22
Nebraska has significantly struggled throughout the 2021-22 season – there’s no question about it. Currently sitting at 8-21 overall with a 2-16 mark in Big Ten play, the Cornhuskers have lost 14 of their last 16 games and are sitting at the bottom of the league heading into the final week of the regular season.
Although it is just 2-14 in its last 16 outings, Nebraska earned a win on Sunday – picking up a 93-70 win at Penn State. In the Cornhuskers’ win, they built a 49-31 lead at halftime and remained in control throughout the second half.
After facing Ohio State on Tuesday, the Cornhuskers will wrap-up their regular season on Sunday at Wisconsin.
