Spencer Rattler leads the way

Notably, the Heisman Trophy favorite leads the list. Brimming with potential, many brands may believe it’s best to get to Spencer Rattler as soon as they can.

Shedeur Sanders made waves when he opted to play for his father, Deion, at Jackson State. However, that hasn’t stopped his marketability. He comes in third in the entire nation, on the heels of his NIL deal with Beats by Dre.

Furthermore, Quinn Ewers of Ohio State is already cracking the top ten. As he continues to get his feet wet in college football, there’s no limit to his marketability.

Notable Omissions

Surpringly, D’Eriq King misses the cut on Opendorse’s list. The Miami Hurricanes quarterback was the first college football player to sign an NIL deal, and has since been active in accumulating others.

As for other notable omissions, Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral‘s electrifying play didn’t help him make the list. In the Big Ten, quarterbacks Graham Mertz of Wisconsin and C.J. Stroud of Ohio State both couldn’t leverage their stature for a spot.

As the season progresses, it remains to be seen if King, Corral, Mertz and Stroud can work their way up the list. Moreover, other players will certainly make a play for spots on the list.
