Oregon staffer, former Washington DC Bob Gregory a target for defensive backs coach job at Stanford

Former Washington defensive coordinator Bob Gregory has emerged as a target for a defensive backs coach job at Stanford, sources tell On3.
Before joining the Oregon staff this year, Gregory spent eight seasons at Washington, including as the defensive coordinator and then interim head coach last year.
Gregory previously worked at Boise State as a linebackers coach (2010-13), California as a defensive coordinator (2002-09) and Boise as the team’s defensive coordinator (2001).

At Stanford, Gregory would work under new Cardinal head coach Troy Taylor and new defensive coordinator Bobby April.
Taylor was hired at Stanford earlier this month after four years as the head coach at Sacramento State.
