Scooby Williams injury update: Texas A&M reveals LB's status vs. Missouri on Wednesday availability report

As the final stretch of the season approaches, another important SEC matchup awaits in Week 11. Texas A&M will look to stay undefeated as it heads to CoMo to take on Missouri, and both teams released their initial availability reports on Wednesday.
Both teams were on byes last week, meaning they had opportunities to get some extra rest ahead of Saturday’s game. Texas A&M enters as the last undefeated team standing in the SEC, while Mizzou is looking to avoid a third loss after checking in at No. 22 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings.
Texas A&M and Missouri provided the latest injury updates on key players for Saturday’s game. Here is the Wednesday availability report, as released by the SEC.
Texas A&M
- LB Scooby Williams – Out
- DB Bryce Anderson – Out
- RB Le’Veon Moss – Out
- DB Rashad Johnson – Out
Missouri
- QB Beau Pribula – Out
- K Blake Craig – Out
- QB Sam Horn – Out
- TE Brett Norfleet – Questionable
Texas A&M checked in at No. 3 in the initial CFP rankings, revealed Tuesday night. The Aggies would then have a first-round bye in the projected 12-team bracket, under the new straight-seeding model in place this year.
However, despite the undefeated record, Mike Elko said his team is still desperate. His reasoning was simple. Texas A&M is going to get everyone’s best shot the rest of the year and try to take down the SEC’s last remaining unbeaten.

“I think we are desperate,” Elko said this week. “I tell them all the time. We have earned everything that we’ve got, right? We’ve got a record, we’ve got a ranking. We’ve got opportunities that we have worked really, really hard to earn. Every single Saturday, someone is coming in and trying to take all of that from us. And that’s the urgency that we have.”
Especially this week, Elko sees a College Football Playoff-caliber matchup with Missouri. Although the Tigers are at No. 22 in the initial rankings, there could still be a path to the bracket, depending on how things go the rest of the way.
To do that, though, Mizzou needs to avoid a third loss. That adds to the importance of Saturday’s game and is another reason why Elko isn’t taking the Tigers lightly.
“They’re still very much alive for the playoff,” Elko said. “This is a playoff game for them. They obviously know they’re going to have to win out in order, probably, to get in. This is a huge opportunity for them – at home on a big stage – to make a statement that they’re going to go chase a spot in the playoff. There’s a lot more of that nowadays then there’s been in the past, when only two or four teams were making the playoff.”
