SEC Shorts trolls Lane Kiffin using dog Juice after leaving Ole Miss for LSU
In light of Lane Kiffin’s departure from Ole Miss for LSU, the jokes are aplenty. SEC Shorts got in on the fun, taking aim at both Kiffin and his dog, Juice.
The show trolled Kiffin by “promoting” an app called “PR Paws,” which provides dogs to coaches looking for social media engagement. One of the actors – donning an LSU visor and polo – also creates a social media account, similar to how Kiffin did for Juice a couple years ago.
SEC Shorts’ point centers around the idea Kiffin potentially left Juice in Oxford after taking the LSU job, and rumors swirled that Juice wasn’t necessarily his dog. However, Juice’s X account indicated he “can’t wait” to get to Baton Rouge with his “dad, brother, and sister!”
“It’s amazing,” the “coach” says. “PR Paws will deliver ‘your dog’ to those important moments like when the university social media team is filming, and then quickly remove the dog from your sight immediately following those moments.
“With all the great content you’ll get from those 15-minute interaction sessions, you’ll be able to launch a fake Twitter account under your dog’s name. It’s such a cute move and it’s guaranteed to make the general public think you take him to the vet for yearly checkups.”

The reaction to Lane Kiffin’s move continues to pour in following his decision to leave Ole Miss following last week’s Egg Bowl. He also will not coach the Rebels in the College Football Playoff, and the program elevated defensive coordinator Pete Golding to head coach ahead of the postseason.
But during his introductory press conference at LSU this week, Kiffin said there was an instance on his way to the airport where someone ran him off the road. The Mississippi Department of Public Safety denied that claim, and commissioner Sean Tindell also poked some fun at the rumors about Juice.
“Look, contrary to any rumors or any other allegations, there’s been no incidents where our highway patrol state troopers were involved in any sort of accident trying to run Coach Kiffin off the road when he was leaving Oxford last weekend,” Tindell said in a video posted Wednesday. “He had a safe trip, and he’s on his way. I’m sorry, this is not even my dog. Y’all be safe.”
