Sherrone Moore firing: Dispatch audio obtained from alleged incident with ex-Michigan coach
Audio has emerged from the dispatch call made, stemming from an alleged Sherrone Moore incident on Wednesday afternoon. TMZ obtained the dispatch audio.
The audio recording released by TMZ, which is quite brief, indicates the call is for a “domestic” issue. The dispatcher later notes that the subject is “in the house attacking her.”
Finally, the dispatcher noted that the subject “has been stalking her for months.” Moore was still being held in custody at the time of this writing, though he has yet to be charged with a crime.
You can listen to the audio below. Be warned that it contains sensitive subject matter.
Moore was fired as Michigan‘s head coach on Wednesday afternoon. The news caught the college football world by surprise, and the program announced that it had found ‘credible evidence’ that Moore was having an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.
Shortly after, news emerged that Moore had been detained by police. Pittsfield Township police released a statement later Wednesday revealing its officers were investigating an alleged assault earlier Wednesday evening.
Moore was not mentioned by name, but the statement came in response to inquiries about his situation. At the time, charges were pending review by prosecutors.
