South Carolina offers 3-star WR Channing Goodwin

South Carolina has extended an offer to three-star Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School wide receiver Channing Goodwin.

Goodwin is the No. 451 overall recruit and No. 10 recruit from North Carolina in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $14.4k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons caught up with Goodwin earlier this month about his recruiting plans.

“Relationships are huge for me, so taking visits are very important,” Goodwin told On3. “I want to get out to Kentucky, Missouri, and West Virginia this season. Those are schools I have not visited yet.
