2026 WR Daylen Sharper commits to Stanford

Phoenix Brophy College Prep three-star wide receiver Daylen Sharper has committed to Stanford, he announced on Tuesday evening.
Coming off an official visit to Palo Alto, Sharper has pledged to the Cardinal, choosing the West Coast ACC program over Arizona, Arizona State, Vandy and others.
Sharper is the No. 542 overall prospect and No. 84 WR in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 8 player in Arizona.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pounder is coming off a big junior season at Brophy, one of the most high-profile football programs in the state of Arizona. Last season, he hauled in 65 receptions for 846 yards and 12 touchdowns, per MaxPreps. Brophy won 10 games and finished as the No. 6 team in the state, per the On3 Composite Rankings.
On3’s Chad Simmons caught up with Sharper last month ahead of his summer visit schedule. He broke down what would play into his eventual decision, which has now come sooner than expected:
“I care about the culture at a school and within that culture, how a school develops players, what the locker room feels like and my connection with the coaches,” Sharper said. “I want to go to a great academic school too. Connections with the other players on the team, the coaches and those in the program are other things I am looking at.”
