Taylen Green injury update: ABC broadcast reveals why Arkansas QB left game vs. Texas

Taylen Green did not make the smartest decision in the third quarter vs. Texas, throwing a head-scratching interception. But as he came off the field, there appeared to be something wrong with the Arkansas quarterback. Eventually, the ESPN cameras caught trainers working on something in the lower body.
So, as Arkansas was set to take the field again on offense, Green stayed behind. An injury is keeping him on the sideline as KJ Jackson takes over. Jackson is now tasked with helping Arkansas put together more explosive plays, with the hope of putting together a come-from-behind win.
“Taylen Green has been grimacing in some pain on the sidelines,” ESPN’s Katie George said. “He’s been grabbing both his hamstrings, stretching them out… Backup quarterback KJ Jackson was seen warming up behind the bench. He’s set to take over, guys.”
