TCU trolls UNC by recreating viral Bill Belichick, Jordon Hudson picture

TCU‘s victory lap over North Carolina following Monday’s blowout victory poked fun at several aspects of the Tar Heels’ program. Jordon Hudson, UNC head coach Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, was a regular target of these shots.

This included TCU offensive linemen Coltin Deery and Cade Bennett. The two attempted to recreate a viral photo of Hudson in a mermaid costume while Belichick acted as the fisherman on the beach. The two TCU OL’s acted the photo out as if they were the couple with Bennett (acting as Belichick) reeling in Deery (acting as Hudson) with an imaginary fishing line.

Deery is a team captain and has started in 21 straight games during his college career, including Monday’s season opener. Bennett is a transfer from San Diego State, but joined the program in 2024. He missed the entire season with injury, so the two-time All-Mountain West offensive lineman played his first game for TCU earlier this week.

In addition, various trolls came from the TCU social media admin centered around Bill Belichick and the portrayal of the Tar Heels as the main characters heading into the matchup. Responses included, mentioning UNC’s would-have-been Hulu show before the plug got pulled, responding to analysis from members of the national media and even breaking out their patented brain-rot videos that make less sense the longer you watch it.

Another troll came in the locker room, this time by TCU’s star defensive back, Bud Clark. Clark, who had quite the game against the Tar Heels, was on an Instagram live when he pointed a message toward North Carolina’s head coach and his much younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

“He gotta call for his girlfriend,” Clark said among his teammates in the locker room postgame. “Hey, Belichick gotta call for his girlfriend. He sad.”

Clark took the easy jab but it appeared effective, and got a laugh or two out of his teammates. He isn’t the first person to talk about Belichick and his relationship with Hudson. In fact, the couple’s history has been well documented since he took the UNC job this offseason.

Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, have made headlines time and time again since they’ve revealed their relationship status. Many of them discuss the age discrepancy between the two. Belichick is 73 and Hudson is 24, making it an easy target for the troll Toads to poke fun at in the Tar Heels’ loss.
