No. 20 LSU is set to host No. 3 Texas A&M on Saturday night in Death Valley. It’ll be a matchup with serious SEC title race and College Football Playoff implications.

Texas A&M enters the game unbeaten, but the Aggies have faced only one ranked team this year. This will be as stiff a test as Mike Elko‘s squad has seen this season.

LSU, on the other hand, is looking to cool the noise around the program following a loss on the road at Vanderbilt last weekend. On3 will have live updates throughout the game, so follow along below for all the latest from the SEC showdown on Saturday night.

FINAL: Texas A&M 49-25 LSU

10/25/2025 10:25:17 PM

The late score from LSU is the last scoring action in the contest, breaking up a 35-0 run by Texas A&M. And that will do it for our coverage tonight. Thanks for following along!

SCORE ALERT – 0:59, 4Q: Texas A&M 49-25 LSU

10/25/2025 10:13:39 PM

It won’t matter much in the long run, but Kyle Parker makes a tremendous snag in the back of the end zone to finally get LSU on the board again. Backup quarterback Michael Van Buren was in for Garrett Nussmeier and threw the touchdown strike. Still, it will be of little comfort to the Tigers or their fans, which watched the team simply get overwhelmed in the second half.

SCORE ALERT – 6:12, 4Q: Texas A&M 49-18 LSU

If the rout wasn’t fully on before, it sure is now. After stopping LSU short of the sticks on fourth-and-short, Texas A&M took over on a short field and converted once more. This time it was Jamarion Morrow rushing in from 11 yards out for the score.

SCORE ALERT – 14:15, 4Q: Texas A&M 42-18 LSU

10/25/2025 09:37:42 PM

Texas A&M punches it in again after another drive that was way too easy if you’re an LSU fan. The stands are starting to empty now, following the 1-yard rushing touchdown by Nate Boerkircher. The Aggies have scored 28 unanswered points now.

Another LSU drive stalls… and ‘Fire Kelly’ chants emerge

10/25/2025 09:26:08 PM

Things are snowballing on LSU in a hurry, and the fans have about had it after another frustrating night. Things feel like they could go from bad to worse quickly in Baton Rouge.

SCORE ALERT – 4:02, 3Q: Texas A&M 35-18 LSU

10/25/2025 09:20:32 PM

Texas A&M is making a meal of it now, and the crowd at Tiger Stadium has been thoroughly silenced. The offense just keeps taking chunks out of the LSU defense. This time it’s Jamarion Morrow who takes a short pass 24 yards in for the score. The Aggies have scored 21 unanswered and the Tigers appear out of answers.

SCORE ALERT – 8:42, 3Q: Texas A&M 28-18 LSU

10/25/2025 09:06:22 PM

Texas A&M gets a stop on the LSU offense, then special teams helps the Aggies extend the lead. After Chadwick Grant booted it away 60 yards, KC Concepcion got underneath and weaved his way between the coverage unit for a 79-yard touchdown return. Aggies are threatening to break this one open.

SCORE ALERT – 10:41, 3Q: Texas A&M 21-18 LSU

10/25/2025 08:57:23 PM

Texas A&M gets the ball first out of the break and puts together a methodical drive to get into the low red zone. A penalty backs things up to the 7-yard line, and LSU is able to force a third-down attempt. No matter, as Marcel Reed gets free in the pocket and finds a lane and he’s in for the touchdown. Aggies lead again.

HALFTIME: Texas A&M 14-18 LSU

10/25/2025 08:26:43 PM

We’re at halftime and we’ve got a thoroughly entertaining game on our hands. LSU has had more success running the ball than it has most of the season, while Marcel Reed seemed to cool off after getting anything he wanted early. Can Reed bounce back in the second half or will he succumb to the pressure under the lights in Death Valley? Stay tuned.

SCORE ALERT – 0:20, 2Q: Texas A&M 14-18 LSU

10/25/2025 08:20:14 PM

LSU works quickly into the red zone, thanks largely to an impressive bit of work after contact from Caden Durham on a 28-yard gain. LSU burns its second timeout with 34 seconds remaining, and Brian Kelly seems upset with Garrett Nussmeier after burning it. The drive stalls in the red zone and LSU is forced to settle for a field goal.

INTERCEPTION! Tipped ball gives LSU possession

10/25/2025 08:14:03 PM

Another error from Marcel Reed, as he doesn’t appear to see an LSU defender coming off the edge. He tries to force in a pass, and the defender tips it up for Harold Perkins to get under it for the interception. LSU takes over at the Texas A&M 49-yard line with 1:14 left to play and two timeouts.

SCORE ALERT – 3:09, 2Q: Texas A&M 14-15 LSU

10/25/2025 08:05:25 PM

LSU’s drive quickly stalls out and the punt unit heads onto the field to boot it back to Texas A&M. But a late flag comes in for a dead ball personal foul against the Aggies, extending the drive. Garrett Nussmeier immediately goes deep to Barion Brown, hooking up for 41 yards to flip the field entirely. Harlem Berry carries for 13 up the middle to put it into the low red zone. He punches it in with a 7-yard touchdown run two plays later, and LSU is in front. The extra point misses off the upright, so it’s only 15-14 LSU now.

INTERCEPTION! Texas A&M turns it over in low red zone

10/25/2025 07:53:14 PM

The LSU defense allows Texas A&M to march right down the field, but the defense stiffens up in the red zone and is able to force a third down. Marcel Reed then makes a big mistake throwing over the middle, and it’s picked off by AJ Haulcy. LSU now has a chance to take the lead before the break.

Garrett Nussmeier shaken up…

10/25/2025 07:44:20 PM

LSU’s drive after the free kick stalls quickly, and Garrett Nussmeier is shaken up after getting hit hard on a third-down throw. He was holding his lower abdomen on the way off the field, and his facemask was stepped on while he was flat on his back on the turf. Something to keep an eye on going forward, though it doesn’t appear Nussmeier is seeking treatment on the sideline based on the broadcast crew’s comments.

LSU was forced to punt it away, so Marcel Reed and company are set to take over again. There are still more than 10 minutes left until halftime.

BLOCKED PUNT! SAFETY!

10/25/2025 07:41:23 PM

LSU turns the crowd all the way up to 11 and gets the rough the middle to block the punt. The Tigers get the block and the ball rolls out of the back of the end zone for a safety. It’s now 14-9 Texas A&M.

LSU forces Texas A&M to punt

10/25/2025 07:39:23 PM

Texas A&M is finally stopped, and the crowd had a lot to do with it. The noise seemed to affect the center-quarterback exchange and Marcel Reed and the Aggies had to jump on an errant snap for a loss. The drive was all out of sorts from there, and the Tigers force their first punt of the game.

UPDATE – 13:38, 2Q: Texas A&M gets another stop

10/25/2025 07:34:03 PM

For the second time this game, Texas A&M has forced a punt. Both happened similarly, with edge defender Cashius Howell getting a sack of Garrett Nussmeier to disrupt the drive. If the Aggies can keep the foot on the gas and come away with another score here, they could really take the crowd out of the game.

END OF 1ST QUARTER – STATISTICS

10/25/2025 07:28:42 PM

The first quarter is in the books, and the statistics tell the early story. LSU simply hasn’t been able to stop Marcel Reed or the Texas A&M offense. Here are the stats from the first frame.

SCORE ALERT – 0:40, 1Q: Texas A&M 14-7 LSU

10/25/2025 07:25:04 PM

Texas A&M goes right back down the other way, and just when it looked like LSU might buckle up for a stop, Marcel Reed decided he had other plans. He avoids the rush in the pocket and fires an absolute dart to KC Concepcion for a 15-yard touchdown hookup. Texas A&M back in front, 14-7.

SCORE ALERT – 5:38, 1Q: Texas A&M 7-7 LSU

10/25/2025 07:12:44 PM

LSU answers the Texas A&M score right away, with a methodical drive downfield. The Tigers marched 74 yards in eight plays and went heavily to tight end Trey’Dez Green in the red zone for the final bit of work. He catches a 5-yard touchdown strike from Garrett Nussmeier to tie the game at 7-7 and keep the crowd into the game in Baton Rouge.

SCORE ALERT – 10:10, 1Q: Texas A&M 7-0 LSU

10/25/2025 07:02:15 PM

Texas A&M forces LSU to punt after backing the Tigers up to third-and-19 on the opening possession. The offense takes over and quickly works it into LSU territory. Then, on second-and-10 from the 41-yard line, quarterback Marcel Reed takes off and finds a lane on the right side. He gets into the open field and the Tigers can’t corral him. It’s a 41-yard touchdown run for Reed and the Aggies to open the scoring.

Harlem Berry gets the start at RB

10/25/2025 06:52:11 PM

LSU makes a change in the backfield, with ESPN’s Holly Rowe reporting that Harlem Berry will get the start at running back tonight for the Tigers. It doesn’t take long for him to make an instant impact, either, as he gains 16 yards on the second play of the game. It’ll be interesting to watch him tonight.
