Texas Tech set to hire Baylor's Justin Johnson as wide receivers coach

Texas Tech is set to hire Baylor running backs coach Justin “Juice” Johnson as its wide receivers coach and assistant head coach, sources tell On3.
Johnson, a former star wide receiver at Houston, has been at Baylor the last three seasons. He was previously a wide receivers coach at Kansas in 2018.

Johnson was a first-team all-conference wide receiver at Houston as a senior in 2011, catching 87 passes for 1,229 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Johnson will be the replacement for Emmett Jones, who left Texas Tech for the wide receivers coaching job at Oklahoma this week.
