Tim Tebow suggested Miami is actually under more pressure than Florida Saturday ahead of their in-state rivalry game in South Florida. That’s despite Miami being unbeaten and ranked No. 4 in the country and Florida at 1-2 with Billy Napier on the hot seat.

Tebow argued the hype around Miami through the first quarter of the season is why the Hurricanes have more pressure. They have pressure to get it done against the Gators and keep marching their way towards the College Football Playoff.

Safe to say, ESPN’s Paul Finebaum is on the other side of the coin. There’s pressure continuously mounting on Florida and Napier.

“I wonder if tonight they can flip the script, because you mentioned it,” Tebow said on SEC Nation. “The pressure is on Florida. I don’t know about that. I actually think there’s more pressure on Miami tonight, because they’re thinking, ‘Well, we have GameDay that’s there in Miami, we’re a top five team. Everybody’s saying The U is back, and everybody’s talking about Florida as, you know, they can’t beat a good team.’ But if you really watch the tape, they’re a lot closer than people think, right?

“If you don’t turn the football over last week, there’s a decent chance you win that game, especially if you add onto that the penalties. And so I think if they could flip the script, play free, like they did the end of last year. I actually think there could be more pressure.”

Florida’s schedule is brutal compared to Miami from here on out. That was the general consensus with Florida even coming into the season.

“The problem is the schedule and the record,” Finebaum said. “The good news is they played really well last week, so there was some encouragement, but another loss tonight will not help that encouragement. It will send this direction in the wrong way. And he’s got Texas in a couple weeks, Texas A&M. Unless he gets a win tonight, it is going to be very difficult for him to overcome this difficulty. …

“Yeah, I mean, the reality is, he’s playing an amazing schedule. The other reality is the schedule, the record is going to be terrible, and they’re going to be knocked out of the playoffs, and pretty much anything else very quickly if they don’t do something.”

Florida and Miami are set for a Saturday night kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
