WATCH: Tom Brady signs football Dre Greenlaw intercepted off him

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers got absolutely throttled on Sunday by the San Francisco 49ers, 35-7. The game wasn’t remotely close and it’s games like it that make many wonder why in the world Brady decided to come out of retirement in the first place. Brady had a rough outing as you might imagine, completing 34 of his 55 pass attempts for 253 yards, while tossing in just one touchdown and two interceptions. San Francisco linebacker Dre Greenlaw made tipped one of Brady’s passes in the third quarter and snatched one of those picks. Following the game, the former Arkansas star had an unusual request for the greatest to ever do it and asked him to sign the ball he intercepted.
Check out the video below.
While Brady probably would rather have not had to sign the football, it’s definitely a good show of sportsmanship on his behalf. That ball will be a memory that Greenlaw will likely keep in a special case in his trophy case. He racked up 15 tackles to go along with his one interception on Sunday.

If the 49ers keep playing like they did on Sunday, they could have some more hardware to add to Greenlaw’s trophy case at the end of the season. San Francisco currently sits at 9-4 and they’re playing like one of the best teams in the league. They look like they’re going to be an extremely tough team to beat in the upcoming NFL Playoffs.
The 49ers pounded and pummeled their way to the tune of 209 rushing yards on Sunday. Not only that, but they also forced Tampa Bay into three turnovers. They’re the NFL’s top-ranked defense in multiple categories and they showed exactly why on Sunday. The 49ers’ third string quarterback has continued to impress. Brock Purdy completed 16 of his 21 pass attempts for 185 passing yards, while tossing in two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also added a touchdown on the ground.
