New Iberia (La.) Westgate four-star conerback Jaboree Antoine decommitted from LSU on June 23. He’s now set to come back off the board less than one month later.

Antoine will announce his commitment on July 20, choosing between the in-state Tigers, Miami and Florida State, he tells On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder is the No. 84 overall prospect and No. 9 corner in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 2 player in Louisiana.

Antoine was committed to LSU for nearly five months before opting to come back on the board. Ahead of his June decommitment, he logged official visits to both FSU and Miami. The pair of ACC Sunshine State programs have piqued Antoine’s interest and are in play to pick up a major commitment in the secondary.

Miami had Antoine on campus at the beginning of March. That spring visit was another reminder of the loyalty that Mario Cristobal’s program has shown him since the start of his recruitment. Miami was the first school to offer Antoine.

“I had a fun time, a good experience,” Antoine said coming off his Miami visit. “Miami was the first school to offer me so I had to give them a chance. Coming down and talking to the coaching staff, seeing everybody, it was building that relationship and I enjoyed it.”

As for the Seminoles, Mike Norvell, Pat Surtain and Co. are giving him plenty to think about as well. There’s a level of realness at FSU that stands out to the blue-chip defensive back.

“They kept it real,” Antoine told On3. “Comparing it to other programs, they really kept it real with me. They didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear on the OV (official visit). so that really stood out. And I have the utmost respect for that.”
