Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley four-star EDGE Bryce Davis is one of the best in the Tar Heel State in the 2025 cycle. He’s now nearing his college decision.

The 6-foot-2.5, 245-pounder told On3’s Chad Simmons on Tuesday that he’s set to announce his commitment on July 20. He will choose between Clemson, Duke and Georgia.

Davis is the No. 62 overall prospect and No. 8 EDGE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 4 player in North Carolina.

Official visits are on deck for Davis, beginning with a trip to Clemson for the May 31 weekend. His officials will play a major role in his decision this summer.

“They’re huge, fundamental for me and my family,” Davis said of the OVs. “I feel like I can be successful at all three of those schools. It’s going to be that gut feeling and prayer that’s really going to do it for me.”

UGA is currently trending for Davis, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). Last month, On3 VP of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong logged a pick in favor of the Bulldogs landing Davis’ pledge.

“That development piece. You go against the best every day at Georgia, iron sharpens iron. To be the best you got to go against the best,” Davis said when asked what comes to mind about the Dawgs.

Davis has continued to build relationships with each staff this spring. Those relationships will also be key as he chooses his destination at the next level.

“I know coaches come and go, but I need a relationship with those people that I’m going to be spending my time with every day and then the recruiting class that is coming in as well,” he previously told On3. “I want to bond with those guys because those are the people I’m really going to spend the most time with and also, I really want to get developed. I’m trying to make it to the next level, so I want to make sure they can fit me into the scheme well. Then, my parents are huge on education, so that matters a lot to me.”
