Troy football drops hilarious uniform reveal video

The Troy football social media department went above and beyond to find a creative way for the Trojans’ uniform release video.
College football fans have become accustomed to the typical serious, fierce uniform reveal videos that most programs typically use.
Troy had a much different idea in mind. Check it out for yourself.
Rich Rodriguez praises Troy football linebacker
Troy (2-1) enters Saturday’s matchup vs. Louisiana Monroe (1-1) to kickoff its first Sunbelt test of the season.
ULM coach Rich Rodriguez went above and beyond praising Troy star linebacker Carlton Martial.
“They have the best linebacker,” Rodriguez said of Martial. “A guy that’s 5-9, I think they said 220 pounds. He’s just a flat-out ballplayer. I’m talking about — I’m as impressed with him as any linebacker I’ve seen in years.”
Through three games, Martial leads the Troy football team with 20 total tackles, and he’s also got one sack and one interception.

Martial earned All-Sun Belt first-team honors in 2019 and 2020. He was named a 2018 Freshman All-American by USA Today and the Football Writers Association of America.
“We’ve got a lot of work to do,” Rich Rodriguez said. “We’re going to have to really get better and execute to give ourselves a chance. It’s going to be a big game for us. It’s the opening conference game. Troy, traditionally, has been one of the best teams in the Sun Belt, I believe. So we’ll see what happens.”
The Trojans lead the Sun Belt in yards allowed (228 pg) and scoring (11 ppg). Martial, the preseason Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year, has 21 tackles in three games. Liberty, a program known for its explosive offensive numbers, managed only 21 points against Troy.
Will Choloh, Richard Jibunor and Javon Solomon are tied for the team lead with 3.5 sacks each. ULM has allowed 10 sacks on the year and struggled to get any push at the line of scrimmage. Offensive line transfers Aries Davis (UT Martin) and Willie Tyler (Texas) made their first career starts against Jackson State.
