5-star WR Jaime Ffrench locks in four official visits this summer

Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench is one of the most coveted prospects in the 2025 recruiting class, and a pair of schools are standing out in the battle for his commitment.
Ffrench told On3’s Chad Simmons on Saturday that Texas and Ohio State are currently “at the top” of his recruitment.
For the Longhorns, they’ve kept up consistent communication since offering Ffrench in the winter.
“Coach Sark. The love they showed early as soon as they offered me the scholarship in January. The love coach [Chris] Jackson showed. Great people in the building, stuff like that,” Ffrench said about what stands out about Texas.
Ohio State and wide receiver production have become synonymous under Brian Hartline and Ryan Day.
“Coach Hartline, coach Day, they always show a good time with me up there as well,” Ffrench said. “Showing the offense, all they have done and can do.”
Ffrench’s relationship with Hartline dates back nearly two years.
“I met him going into my sophomore year,” Ffrench said. “Coach Hartline is a good dude, he always comes down to Jacksonville to show love. Always wants me to get back up there.”
Official visits on deck for Ffrench
Ffrench told On3 that he has scheduled official visits for LSU (June 1), Miami (June 7), Tennessee (June 13) and Texas (June 21).

He said that an official visit to Ohio State has been pushed back to the fall during the season, but that he will “definitely” take one.
Ffrench also unofficially visited LSU in March.
“They keep telling me to come home. I have people around Baton Rouge, so they keep telling me to come home,” Ffrench said. “And then the offense, they had the No. 1 offense in the SEC. The numbers always speak for themselves. Coach [Cortez] Hankton has also has been after me since I was a freshman at Georgia, relationships are a big part of my recruitment.”
In-state Miami has rapidly moved up the board in Ffrench’s recruitment. A big reason for that is receivers coach Kevin Beard.
“Coach Beard, him and Hartline and the best two [receiver coaches] in my eyes,” Ffrench said. “It’s just the program, Miami has a good staff and good people in the building.”
Ffrench told On3 that he expects to commit sometime in August.
