The Junior/U20 Team USA lineup is set after Saturday’s World Team Trials and it’s a loaded list for 2025. It includes current college commits, as well as current collegiate wrestlers.

Like the Senior Team does at Final X, there are best-of-three matchups in the finals to determine the spots. Winners of the US Open got byes into the finals while the remainder of the weight classes battled it out in the brackets.

Below is the U20 team for 2025, starting off with two wrestlers that will certainly make their marks in NCAA wrestling. They just have to graduate high school this month!

U20/Junior World Team 2025

57 KG: Anthony Knox (Cornell commit)
61 KG: Marcus Blaze (Penn State commit)
65 KG: Luke Stanich (Lehigh)
70 KG: PJ Duke (Penn State commit)
74 KG: Dee Lockett (Oklahoma State commit)
79 KG: Will Henckel (Penn State)
86 KG: Max McEnelly (Minnesota)
92 KG: Connor Mirasola (Penn State)
97 KG: Justin Rademacher (Oregon State)
125 KG: Cole Mirasola (Penn State)

Five members of last year’s U20 World Team earned a return trip to the U20 Worlds with championship efforts on Saturday evening. 92 kg champion Connor Mirasola, who was fifth at the 2024 U20 Worlds, joins Blaze, Duke, Lockett and Rademacher as repeaters. Mirasola went 10-0 and 4-1 against Dillon Bechtold in the finals.

The most accomplished, in terms of NCAA wrestling, of the bunch is McEnelley. He’s lost only twice at the collegiate level through a redshirt year and his first varsity season in 2024-25.

McEnelly was the favorite to win the U20 Team spot and did so. He recently finished 3rd at the NCAA Tournament, only losing to runner-up Parker Keckeisen (UNI). McEnelly lost in overtime just as he did against five-time NCAA champion Carter Starocci (Penn State).

Another note is Stanich took on Iowa commit (2026) Bo Bassett. Bassett’s recruiting saga was much talked about, discussed and followed. He’s currently the No. 2 pound-for-pound prospect in the Class of 2026, behind teammate Jax Forrest (Oklahoma State commit). Forrest will wrestle at Final X on June 14th for a Senior Team spot at 61 KG against two-time NCAA champion Vito Arujau.

The U20 Team will head to the 2025 World Championships in August from the 18th to 24th. They take place in Sofia, Bulgaria.
