No. 12 UCLA vs. No. 21 USC Preview

College basketball in Los Angeles is white hot right now, and now it’s time to decide which team can take bragging rights into March ahead of their second regular season matchup.

The Bruins are led by star guard Johnny Juzang, who averages 18.1 points per game on a 45.5 percent clip while averaging almost 33 minutes per outing. The 6-foot-7 junior is coming off a 23-point performance in a 79-70 win over Stanford on Tuesday. Juzang contributed with a huge four-point play that turned the tipped the game in favor of UCLA, not to mention 16 points from teammate Jaime Jaquez.

For USC, they jumped out to a 13-0 start to the season, but are now 7-4 in their last 11, which has pushed them 2.5 games behind No. 4 Arizona (11-1, Pac-12) in the conference standings. UCLA sits half a game ahead of the Trojans and are tied for seconds with the Oregon Ducks (9-3, Pac-12).
