Following the recent release of the updated 2024 On300 Ranking, there was some movement across the board in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The three highest-rated classes in the Atlantic Coast Conference all find themselves in the top 25 of the national rankings.

In order to create the most comprehensive and unbiased team recruiting ranking, the On3 Team Recruiting Rankings is solely based on the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. The On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings is the most advanced and accurate team ranking in the industry.

The top 10 ACC teams in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings can be found below.

1. Florida State — 91.672

The Seminoles were active on the trail in July, hauling in 10 prospects, none bigger than Venice (Fla.) five-star cornerback Charles Lester III. He was FSU’s highest-ranked commit until the beginning of August, when Buford (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ safety KJ Bolden picked the Noles.

Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County four-star Landen Thomas is the top-ranked TE in the cycle. Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest four-star OT Jonathan Daniels, Tallahassee (Fla.) FSU School four-star athlete Micahi Danzy, Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star WR Elijah Moore, D.C. Gonzaga four-star EDGE DD Holmes and Modesto (Calif.) Central Catholic four-star OT Manasse Itete are among those who have also committed in the summer.

2 five-stars | 9 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 17 total commits
Top Commit: Jefferson (Ga.) five-star LB Sammy Brown, No. 13 in the On3 Industry Ranking

It’s been a slow last couple of months for the Tigers after they pulled both of their five-star recruits on consecutive days in the month of June. Jefferson (Ga.) five-star LB Sammy Brown kicked things off for the Tigers before being followed up by Midlothian (Texas) WR Bryant Wesco.

The class also includes top-100 Lancaster (Texas) four-star CB Corian Gipson — the Tigers’ latest commit. Additionally, Woodstock (Ill.) Marian Central Catholic four-star TE Christian Bentancur and Tampa (Fla.) Catholic four-star WR TJ Moore.

The Hurricanes added three prospects in August: Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna four-star safety Zaquan Patterson, Cincinnati Taft four-star EDGE Elias Rudolph and Zachary (La.) three-star OT Kavion Broussard.

Miami’s recruiting win over Ohio State in the battle for Chicago Kenwood Academy four-star EDGE Marquise Lightfoot jumped the Hurricanes into the top 25 at the start of July. Chaminade-Madonna Prep four-star WR Joshisa Trader headlines as the No. 9 wideout in the cycle.

The two other blue-chip prospects currently committed to North Carolina are Gainesville (Ga.) four-star cornerback Zion Ferguson and Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep four-star running back Davion Gause. The Tar Heels rank No. 27 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings and their most recent commitment comes from Shelby (N.C.) Stanford sits just one spot behind future ACC opponent North Carolina in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The Cardinal hold a commitment from one of the best defensive linemen in the country in Benedict Umeh, who pledged to Stanford in early July. He is joined by blue-chip prospects Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star quarterback Elijah Brown, Miami Christopher Columbus four-star EDGE Dylan Stephenson, Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic four-star wide receiver Emanuel Ross, Oakland (Calif.) Fremont four-star EDGE Naki Tuakoi and Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) four-star wide receiver Emmett Mosley.

0 five-stars | 3 four-stars | 23 three-stars | 26 total commits
Top Commit: Tucker (Ga.) four-star EDGE CJ Jackson, No. 181 in the On3 Industry Ranking

It has been relatively quiet for a jam-packed Georgia Tech class of late, the last commitment to the Yellow Jackets coming in the first week of August with Taylors (S.C.) Riverside three-star defensive lineman Marcus Downs. CJ Jackson headlines the class alongside Charleston (S.C.) Phillip Simmons four-star cornerback Troy Stevenson and Warner Robins (Ga.) four-star wide receiver Isiah Canion. Georgia Tech currently ranks No. 31 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, thus far significantly higher than its 2023 class ranking of No. 64.

Top Commit: Washington (D.C.) St. Vincent Pallotti four-star linebacker Gabriel Williams, No. 183 in the On3 Industry Ranking

Gabriel Williams pledged to Virginia Tech in mid-June and is the highest-rated prospect in the Hokies’ class. One day later, Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie four-star cornerback Marcellus Barnes added his name to the register of Virginia Tech’s 2024 recruiting class. Virginia Beach (Va.) Green Run four-star wide receiver Keylen Adams is the No. 31 wideout in the class and the No. 4 player from the state of Virginia. The most recent pledge for VT came from Macon (Ga.) Tattnall Square Academy three-star offensive tackle Web Davidson at the end of July.

Top Commit: Burlington (N.C.) Hugh M. Cummings four-star wide receiver Jonathan Paylor, No. 174 in the On3 Industry Ranking

It was a stellar month on the recruiting trail in August for North Carolina State, which added commitments from its two highest-rated prospects in the 2024 class. Jonathan Paylor pledged to the Wolfpack on August 4 before Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley four-star wide receiver Terrell Anderson added his commitment eight days later. Paylor and Anderson were major boosts to this recruiting class, which now ranks No. 36 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

0 five-stars | 2 four-stars | 18 three-stars | 20 total commits
Top Commit: Greenwood (Ind.) Center Grove three-star quarterback Tyler Cherry, No. 324 in the On3 Industry Ranking

It has been an incredible start to the season for the Duke Blue Devils on the gridiron — currently 4-0 with a blowout win over Clemson and a College GameDay appearance against Notre Dame upcoming. Now, the wait is on to see if that on-the-field success turns into recruiting success for Mike Elko’s staff. Tyler Cherry committed to Duke in May before Cibolo (Texas) Samuel Clemens four-star safety Paul Mencke Jr. added his commitment a month later. But it has been a quiet couple of months for the Blue Devils, who have not received a commitment since the month of June.
