USA Basketball Junior National U18 Team Finalists Roster Breakdown

Colorado Springs, Colorado – And then there were 18. USA Basketball announced its 18 finalists to compete for the Junior National U18 Team. The association initially invited 30 players to Colorado Springs, Colorado for a Training Camp that began on May 23 at the US Olympic and Paralympic Training Center. Presumably, the next cut will take the team to the final 12-member roster before departing for this summer’s event.

The final USA Basketball Junior National U18 Team will participate in the Men’s U18 AmeriCup which is scheduled for Jun 3-9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The team will be coached by Arizona Head Coach Tommy Lloyd. Texas Tech’s Grant McCasland and Notre Dame’s Micah Shrewsberry will be Lloyd’s assistant coaches. Duke’s Jon Scheyer will also be helping out as a court coach during Training Camp along with Coastal Carolina’s Justin Gray, St. Louis’ Josh Schertz, and Drake’s Ben McCollum.
