Atlanta (Ga.) Duluth On300 cornerback Peyton Dyer has committed to USC, adding to the On3 Industry’s No. 1 ranked recruiting class.

The four-star Dyer chose to play for head coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans over Georgia, Penn State and South Carolina among others.

“Trojan family I’m here, now that I’m a part of the real USC,” Dyer told ON3 through his agent Aaron Garland. “I am ready to work and build something special!”

Dyer is tabbed by On3 as the nation’s No. 21 cornerback and No. 198 prospect overall. Recruited by Doug Belk, he becomes commit No. 28 for USC in the 2026 class.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Dyer had 70 tackles, an interception and two forced fumbles as a junior. He adds to a terrific haul in the secondary for the Trojans. He joins a class that includes fellow four-star cornerbacks in Elbert Hill and Brandon Lockhart.

Dyer also visited USC in April.

“I wasn’t expecting to like USC as much as I did,” he told On3’s Chad Simmons at the time. “I was there for a spring practice a couple of weeks ago and they impressed me a lot.

“The culture and the people made it feel like home.”

Now it is Dyer’s home.

Dyer is currently on his official visit to USC. He is one of several coveted targets for Riley and company. The Trojans are also considered the favorite for four-star linebacker Talanoa Ili. They’re strongly in the mix for a pair of blue-chip receivers in Ethan Boobie Feaster and Jalen Lott as well.
