Vanderbilt keeps WR Keeyshawn Tabuteau home

Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie wide receiver Keeyshawn Tabuteau had 15 offers and after visiting Vanderbilt multiple times, he has committed to Clark Lea and the Commodores.
“I can say that I was someone that they really wanted, and they have a plan for me as soon as I step on campus next spring,” Tabuteau told On3. “That was a big reason for me picking Vanderbilt. Another reason was the coaching staff… I just feel that coach Lea, coach Bek and coach Bailey can help me succeed at the next level.
“The education at Vanderbilt made them the choice also. I think it’s important to think about life after football and getting a degree from Vanderbilt would be a huge accomplishment for my family. Playing in the SEC was another thing that made them stand out.”
Vanderbilt will go into this season trying to build on their 7-6 record in 2024. It had the huge win over Alabama at home and the new commit is excited about his future in Nashville.

“Coach Lea is one of the best coaches in college football and his whole vision for the program gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.”
Tabuteau will play wide receiver for Vanderbilt and be used on special teams as a return man with his speed.
