VHSL Football Top Tens - Entering 10-16-25 Games

We’re down to 24 undefeated teams in Virginia High School Football as we hit the final few weeks of the regular season.

Of the 24 unbeatens, exactly one-third of them – eight teams total – reside in Class 2. Furthermore, Class 2 has two of the four matchups between undefeated squads on the docket this week with Union facing Lebanon and Central-Lunenburg hosting Buckingham in a James River District tilt.

Another is in the Central District, involving Region 4B title contender Dinwiddie and Thomas Dale, who tries to stay in pursuit of one of the top seeds in Region 6A with Manchester and defending Class 6 State Champ Oscar Smith. The Commonwealth District has Colonial Forge visiting Riverbend, who can take a giant step towards leaping over Stone Bridge for the No. 1 seed in Region 5D if they’re able to take down the Eagles.

Other key tilts include Green Run putting its 49-game Beach District winning streak on the line against visiting Bayside in a contest that likely decides who gets the No. 1 seed in Region 5A as well as a battle for Northern Neck District bragging rights on Saturday when reigning Class 1 State Champ Essex travels to Rappahannock.
