Warchant TV: FSU coordinators wrap up loss to Pitt
FSU (3-3, 0-3) dropped out of the polls following its 34-31 loss to Pitt on Saturday in Tallahassee.
On Sunday evening, FSU coordinators Gus Malzahn and Tony White discussed the play of their respective units.

“We have to grow as an offense and hopefully we’ll get our impact players back here soon,” said Malzahn.
White discussed the need to simplify the defense saying.
“You can’t win the game at the chalkboard,” said White. “You got to give those guys a clear set of parameters, let their eyes be there and then turn them loose.”
FSU has opened up as a 14 point favorite on the road vs. Stanford.

Saturday’s loss to Pitt marked the 8th consecutive ACC loss for Florida State.
FSU knocked off 6th ranked Alabama 31-17 in week one and will not play another non-conference game until its regular season finale at Gainesville vs. the Florida Gators.
FSU will continue its ACC slate on Saturday, October 18th in Palo Alto, Calif. against the Stanford Cardinal. Stanford (2-4, 1-2) dropped its contest on Saturday 34-10 vs. SMU at Gerald Ford Stadium in Dallas, Tex.
This will be the first meeting between the two programs. Stanford entered the ACC in 2024.
