Warchant TV: FSU Wednesday post practice interviews, East Texas A&M week
No. 14 FSU (1-0) continued its game week preparation for the East Texas A&M Lions (0-1) on Wednesday morning with a 26 period practice.
During the final media availability of the week, FSU head coach Mike Norvell discussed the push to stay focused after the big win over Alabama and how it “opened eyes” on the recruiting side of things.

Norvell disclosed Randy Pittman (undisclosed injury) will be out this week. He was injured prior to the Alabama game.
Florida State continues practice on Thursday.

Florida State will face East Texas A&M next Saturday at noon inside Doak Campbell Stadium. It will be first meeting between the two programs. The Lions opened their season with a 42-13 loss at SMU
FSU has now won three of its last four season openers, all vs. teams from the SEC (2022 – LSU, 2023 – LSU, 2025 – Alabama).

FSU will begin its ACC slate on Friday, September 26th in Charlottesville against the Virginia Cavaliers. The teams last met in 2019 when the Hoos held off the ‘Noles 31-24 in Scott Stadium. Virginia opened with a 48-7 win over Coastal Carolina in Week One.
