WATCH: Elite 2023 RB Rueben Owens gets up for amazing grab in traffic

El Campo (Texas) four-star running back Rueben Owens may be best known for his skills and speed out of the backfield, but he also has some impressive hands.
In a recent 7-on-7 game, Owens made a ridiculous one-handed grab with his left hand in the midst of traffic. He posted the video on social media Tuesday.
Owens currently ranks as the No. 26 player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
That makes him the second-highest rated running back in the country behind Lehigh Acres (Fla.) Lehigh Senior four-star running back Richard Young.
Owens currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $29,000, which ranks 183rd in the On3 High School Football NIL Rankings. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Rueben Owens is a sought-after running back recruit
Rueben Owens has offers from many of the top teams in the country, and is a priority for many schools, including in-state powerhouses Texas and Texas A&M.
Owens recently caught up with On3’s Sam Spiegelman to discuss the latest in his recruitment.
The four-star running back recently went on a visit to Georgia to see the national champions after the Bulldogs victory last month.
“It was good to get back up there again,” Owens told On3. “Everything went good. They showed me more love. I mean, from the time I was a sophomore to this year, they’ve really shown me that they wanted me. Coach Smart met with me and told me I could be a premium part of the organization and how I could get to the league through ‘RBU.’
