Saline (Mich.) four-star quarterback and Notre Dame commit CJ Carr has made waves for his ability to move around in the pocket and use his feet to extend plays.

He did that Friday night deep in the red zone.

On a play-action pass from around the five, Carr flipped around and started rolling to his left — only to find a defender chasing him down. Carr started to head back to his right but instead of rolling that way, he spinned back left to gain separation. He kept the defender on his back hip like an NBA player coming off a pick before he could find his receiver Tate Bezeau in the end zone for the score.

Carr is the No. 30 overall recruit and No. 6 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $163k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
