Week 0 Announcer Schedule: Broadcasters for Iowa State-Kansas State, other marquee games

At long last, college football makes its return on Saturday with the Week 0 slate of games. It all starts with “Farmageddon,” which heads to Dublin – and the full announcer schedule is set.
Kansas State vs. Iowa State will kick off the 2025 season from Ireland as part of the Aer Lingus College Football classic. It will be a standalone game on ESPN for the first hour before the second matchup in the early window gets underway.

All told, there are nine games on tap for Saturday to get the year underway. Here is the full list of broadcasters for each contest, as compiled by 506sports.
Kansas State vs. Iowa State (in Dublin)
Time: 12 p.m. ET
Channel: ESPN
Broadcasters: Dave Pasch, Dusty Dvoracek
One of the Big 12’s storied rivalries takes on Dublin on Saturday as Kansas State and Iowa State square off in their “Farmageddon” game. It also features two of the conference’s top returning quarterbacks in Avery Johnson and Rocco Becht, making for a storyline-filled first showdown of the season.
Incarnate Word at Nicholls State

Time: 1 p.m. ET
Channel: ESPN2
Broadcasters: Chuckie Kempf, Rene Ingoglia
An FCS matchup is the second game of Week 0 and gets a prime spot on ESPN2. Incarnate Word will take on Nicholls State in what will be Colonels coach Tommy Rybacki first game after taking over for the program’s all-time winningest coach, Tim Rebowe.
Idaho State at UNLV
Time: 4 p.m. ET
Channel: Silver State Sports, MWC Digital
After the first games of Week 0, the Dan Mullen Era gets underway at UNLV. The Rebels will open the year against Idaho State on Mountain West Digital as the former Florida and Mississippi State coach returns to the sidelines.
Tarleton State at Portland State
Time: 4:30 p.m. ET
Channel: ESPN2
Broadcasters: Jorge Sedano, Rodney McLeod
ESPN2 gets another FCS matchup in the afternoon window on Saturday as Tarleton State takes on Portland State. It caps off a doubleheader of FCS action, with kickoff set at 4:30 to usher in the evening slate.
Fresno State at Kansas

Time: 6:30 p.m. ET
Channel: FOX
Broadcasters: Tim Brando, Devin Gardner
A primetime matchup between Fresno State and Kansas gets FOX’s 2025 coverage underway. The Jayhawks will look to make some noise in the Big 12 as quarterback Jalon Daniels returns, though they will have a new coordinator after Jeff Grimes left for Wisconsin.

UC Davis vs Mercer (in Montgomery)
Time: 7 p.m. ET

After two FCS games on ESPN2, the main channel gets one in the nighttime window. UC Davis will take on Mercer in Montgomery as part of a busy primetime slate of action.
Sam Houston State at Western Kentucky
Time: 7 p.m. ET

Fresh off another eight-win season under Tyson Helton, Western Kentucky will get things underway against Sam Houston State in CBS Sports Network’s opening game. The Hilltoppers were picked second in the Conference USA preseason media poll and got one first-place vote, showing the level of expectations this season.
Stanford at Hawaii

Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Channel: CBS
Broadcasters: Rich Waltz, Logan Ryan
A new era gets underway at Stanford this season with Andrew Luck in his first full year as general manager and interim head coach Frank Reich taking over 2025 only. The Cardinal will get things started with a trip to Honolulu to take on Hawaii in a prime window on CBS at 7:30 p.m. ET.
NC Central vs Southern (in Atlanta)
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Channel: ABC
Broadcasters: Tiffany Greene, Jay Walker, Quint Kessenich
The MEAC/SWAC Challenge rounds out the Week 0 schedule of games as NC Central takes on Southern in Atlanta. ABC will air the contest, which will take place at Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta.
Week 0 ushers in college football’s official return after a lengthy offseason. But with only a select number of games, it’s also quite the appetizer to set the table for a jam-packed Week 1 slate.
