West End in Nashville, Tennessee will see a Top-20 matchup to start the college football schedule on Saturday with No. 10 LSU vs. No. 17 Vanderbilt. Now, ahead of kickoff in two days’ time, we have another update for this one on the SEC Availability Report.

The Southeastern Conference updated the injury report this evening for the eight conference games set for Saturday. That’s after an initial release last night on Wednesday.

Here is the update for the Tigers and Commodores from those at the SEC:

No. 10 LSU Tigers

  • DE Gabriel Reliford – OUT
  • DL Bernard Gooden – DOUBTFUL
  • LB Whit Weeks – QUESTIONABLE
  • DE Jimari Butler – QUESTIONABLE
  • WR Aaron Anderson – PROBABLE
  • OL Paul Mubenga – PROBABLE

No. 17 Vanderbilt Commodores

  • LB Jamison Curtis – OUT
  • QB Drew Dickey – OUT
  • RB Chase Gillespie – OUT
  • DB Vanzale Hinton – OUT
  • S Brail Lipford – OUT
  • DL Nikhil Jefferson – OUT
  • CB Marlon Jones – DOUBTFUL
  • DL Yilanan Ouattara – DOUBTFUL
  • DL Linus Zunk – PROBABLE
  • LB Langston Patterson – PROBABLE

For LSU, there were six players on the initial report. Two-thirds of those were defensive names, all of which were out, doubtful, or questionable – specifically a questionable designation of LB Whit Weeks. A positive, though, was the probable listing of WR Aaron Anderon, the Tigers’ leading receiver who missed last week’s win over South Carolina.

Vanderbilt then had double-digit designations, with a majority of those also being defensively for them with eight. But, again, a positive was the probable listing of LB Langston Patterson, who’s tied for top-three on the unit in tackle for Vandy.
