Following last year’s matchup at Camp Randall Stadium, Alabama and Wisconsin are playing their return game Saturday. The two teams are facing off at Bryant Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, kicking off ABC’s tripleheader.

Alabama got the victory last year in Madison, cruising to a 42-10 victory led by Jalen Milroe. He threw for three touchdowns and added two rushing scores as the Crimson Tide picked up its first power conference victory under Kalen DeBoer.

Late in the fourth quarter, Wisconsin’s offense found the end zone. Danny O’Neil connected with Jayden Ballard for a 41-yard touchdown to make it a 38-14 Alabama lead with 5:29 to go in the game.

For the second time in the second half, Ryan Williams found pay dirt. He juked out a defender before finding the end zone on a 41-yard pass from Ty Simpson, extending Alabama’s lead to 35-7 with 11:02 remaining in the third quarter. It also put Williams at 165 receiving yards on five receptions.

After Alabama’s trick-play touchdown, Wisconsin used its special teams to get on the scoreboard. Vinny Anthony took the kick back 95 yards to the house, giving the Badgers their first points of the day and making it a 28-7 ballgame.

After a roughing the passer penalty, Germie Bernard got his second touchdown of Saturday’s game. Ty Simpson connected with him for a 43-yard score, extending the Alabama lead to 14-0 with 12:05 to go until halftime.
